Do not miss SEAD’s Ignite talk and a special workshop session at the Centennial Meeting of the Ecological Society of America (ESA). ESA’s 100th Annual Meeting will be held August 9-14, 2015 in Baltimore, MD.
SEAD’s five-minute Ignite talk, “Ask not what your data can do for you? Really?”, will be presented on Wednesday, August 12, as part of the DataNet Ignite session (IGN 7) at 8:00 AM. This five-minute presentation will aim to ignite participants’ interest and spark exploration of the tools created by the SEAD DataNet project.
On Thursday, August 13, from 11:30 AM to 1:15 PM, SEAD will hold a special workshop session, “Sharing and Managing Data to More Effectively Conduct Ecological Research”, where participants will be introduced to SEAD resources and tools, such as Project Spaces. Attendees will learn how they can easily move data from their active project spaces into long-term archives where data can be discovered, reused, and preserved for future use.
We hope to see you at ESA’s 100th Annual Meeting!
